For breakfast I had a piece of the egg casserole from Sunday, a glass of apple juice and a cup of coffee with the last of my pumpkin spice creamer in it.
For Lunch I had the rest of the frozen pizza from Sunday’s lunch, a yogurt and a orange.
In the afternoon I finished my 8 cups of water even though I had a hour and a half meeting to go to.
For supper we made homemade pizza with sausage, turkey pepperoni and mushrooms. It turned out really good and I had two big pieces. My big problem came when my wife brought home some caramel peanut clusters and cashews I binged on before supper. I hate binging and it makes me feel bad afterwards but sometimes it is like an alcoholic who can't stop drinking and you don’t realize it until you have gone too far. On the bright side this is my first binge in about a week so let’s hope I can keep the next one at bay for even longer.
I'm a binger too and it sucks. I read something in a book called "How to Think Like a Thin Person" Very good book!! It talked about the inner child in all of us. The child who wants what it wants but we have to be the adult/parent and do what's right for the child. They can't always get what they want as it's not good for them. We have to learn to hush that inner child and distract them with things that will benefit a healthier lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteThat's how I think about it when a binge comes on. Sometimes it's very helpful to me. Give it a try.
